With a little help from our friends, North Carolina will be waving her proud colors over farmers’ fields for generations to come – this time over Industrialized Hemp, a wellness product. Thank you, Root Bioscience!
Root Bioscience is on my ‘Welcome List.’
Root Bioscience is based in Morrisville, North Carolina. The website states:
As we began to socialize our plan, we were able to put together a partnership with a group of generational farmers led by Fen Rascoe, agriculture representative on the North Carolina Industrial Hemp Commission. This ensured our access to plants with genetic traits tailored to our product lines grown by people we have known for decades how to use sustainable agriculture practices that match our core values.
This speaks volume to this old gal but being a skeptic, I waited until I had the Certificate of Analysis to order. I requested the full profile COA for this product and it arrived within one day. There are no lab reports on the website, but the representative I spoke with said that they are working on a correlating batch system.
UPDATE: There is now a THC/CBD and Pesticide report for products on their website.
The full profile COA has a clean pesticide report for 19 pesticides, has a clean microanalysis for mold and a clean report for heavy metals. The lab is highly reputable. This product is SAFE.
The THC level is .98 mg/ml. CBD level is 34.50. This is high and reveals a quality strain of industrialized hemp and great farming practices. The CBDV level is .27 mg/ml, CBG is .46, and the CBD is 1.03. The CBD/THC ratio is 35.1:1. The reference chart below indicates the beneficial properties of the analytes. Rows with complete analyte(s), such as #19. Bone Stimulant, with both the CBD and CBG are considered optimal. The entire row does not need to be filled with each indicated analyte to be beneficial, especially with this high level of CBD.
With the high CBD ratio of this product, it is fair to relay that it is above average and is a wiser choice for the consumer, both financially and concerning wellness efforts. After all, our health dollars are an investment in ourselves, our future and our families.
The website is user-friendly, concise and attractive. Products are clearly labeled and there is an option for discounts.
Terpene levels were also included in the COA. This is extremely useful information for detail oriented consumers. Learn about terpenes’ beneficial properties.
I recommend Root Bioscience and remember to request a COA before your purchase.
It is not wise to use a product without full transparency. Insist on a verifiable full profile COA with any hemp product. Identify the testing lab with a header on the lab work. Do not accept a lab report without identifying language and contact information. Identify that COA with a correlating batch number.
Have a great day!
